We collect information you provide directly:
• Account information (name, email)
• Payment information (processed by Paddle.com, our Merchant of Record — we never see or store your card details)
• Videos you upload for processing
• Usage data and analytics
CitrusClip products are sold by Paddle.com Market Limited, our authorized reseller and Merchant of Record. Paddle handles billing, tax collection, and payment processing for all purchases, and processes your payment information under its own privacy policy, available at paddle.com/legal/privacy.
• To provide and improve our service
• To process your videos
• To send service-related emails
• To prevent fraud and abuse
• To analyze usage patterns

• Source videos are stored temporarily during processing. Free plan clips expire after 14 days; Starter and Pro clips are retained indefinitely.

CitrusClip lets you optionally connect third-party social media accounts (including TikTok, YouTube, and Instagram) so you can schedule and publish clips directly from our Scheduler. When you connect an account, we request access through that platform's official OAuth authorization flow. We only ask for the minimum permissions needed to perform the actions you initiate.
For TikTok specifically, when you authorize CitrusClip we collect and store:
• Your TikTok display name and profile/avatar image, used to show which account a scheduled post will publish to
• An access token and refresh token, used solely to publish content you explicitly schedule through CitrusClip on your behalf
• Basic post status information (e.g. published, failed) for posts you schedule through our Scheduler
We do not use TikTok data to build advertising profiles, do not sell or share this data with third parties for marketing purposes, and do not access your TikTok content or account beyond what is required to publish clips you schedule yourself. Access and refresh tokens are encrypted at rest.
You can disconnect any connected social account at any time from Scheduler → Connect Accountsin your dashboard. Disconnecting immediately revokes our stored access token and deletes the associated credentials from our database. You can also revoke CitrusClip's access directly from your TikTok account settings at any time.
We use:
• Clerk for authentication
• Paddle.com for payment processing and billing (our Merchant of Record)
• Google Gemini for AI analysis
• Deepgram for transcription
• Cloudflare R2 for storage
• TikTok, YouTube, and Instagram APIs for optional social account scheduling (only when you choose to connect an account)
You have the right to:
• Access your data
• Delete your account and data, including any connected social media tokens
• Export your data
• Disconnect any linked social media account at any time
• Opt out of marketing emails
